Covering around 5.5 hectares, it comprises areas of rest and contemplation connected by a pedestrian route.

Additionally, there is a set of facilities for various purposes, in particular the Skate Park, which is at the highest level available in Portugal, and the support centre for outdoor activities, EcoTrilhos, designed for those practising trail or mountain biking (BTT), which provides information, shower rooms and a bike washing station.

The fitness station is another of the attractions that stand out in the park, for its size and multifunctionality. For the younger children, there is a playground, designed with maritime motifs, and the Ecopark, built with various natural materials from the region, which aims to encourage children and youth to appreciate Nature’s shapes and textures.

The park also favours meetings and social gatherings, and as such there are two picnic areas with tables, barbecues and water points that can be used by the public.
